This Caramel Affogato is indulgent, requires very little time to make, and combines the best things: espresso, gelato, and caramel! Includes an easy 5 minute microwave caramel sauce!

What you need

tbsp caramel candy

cup instant espresso

tbsp chopped pecans

tbsp butter

cup dark brown sugar

cup heavy whipping cream

tsp vanilla extract

tsp salt

Caramel Affogato 0 Using an ice cream scooper to add the vanilla gelato to a bowl. 11 Add two tablespoons of microwave caramel sauce. 1 Pour the hot espresso over and top with roasted pecans. Serve immediately. 5 Minute Microwave Caramel Sauce 4 In a large glass measuring cup combine the butter, dark brown sugar, and heavy whipping cream. 6 Microwave for 2 minute. Remove and stir until the caramel is smooth. 7 Microwave for 2 more minute. Remove and whisk in the vanilla extract and salt. 9 Whisk for 2 minutes and place in a glass container. 10 Refrigerate until it reaches the desired consistency or use immediately.View original recipe
