cup brown sugar

tbsp water

tsp salt

tsp ground nutmeg

tsp vanilla extract

cup granulated sugar

egg white

0 Preheat oven to [wprm-temperature value="300" unit="F"] and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper. 1 In a large bowl, whisk together the egg whites, water, and vanilla extract until frothy. Add the pecan halves and toss until they're well coated. 2 In another small bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, salt, and ground nutmeg. Add to the pecans and toss again. 3 Pour coated pecans onto the baking sheet and spread out into an even layer. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, and stir to re-coat every 10 minutes.
